Tennessee cherry secretary: Commissioned by a client in Thompson Station, Tn., I made this piece with all the experience I could muster. All drawers have hand cut dovetails with booked matched fronts and bottoms. I made the front doors  book matched, with hand made moldings, maple wood inlays of vines and leaves, solid brass locks on the drawers and doors. The back is frame and panel with the inside looking as good as the outside with a hand rubbed shellac finish. This was a lot of work but a lot of fun to make. |

Queen Anne desk. Made as part of a library unit consisting of wall hanging cabinet and a pair of fancy bookshelves. It is made from Lyptus wood and has unique carved corners on the top.The center drawer holds the computer keyboard. |
